The Central Coast Fashion Week was on last weekend and I attended the incredible By Weave show at Bombini restaurant.  Bombini at Avoca Beach combined food and fashion and put on a spectacular event in a purpose built marquee with a runway and beautiful lighting.

The dinner and show format was new to the Central Coast Fashion Week schedule this year and I must say I was so impressed!  The food at Bombini is always delicious and it was no different on Saturday night. We were served a selection of canapes followed by a main of roast chicken and shared seasonal vegetables, and dessert was a roasted fruit & honey tart with walnut cream which was very delectable.

Following dinner we were all blown away by By Weave's new collection!  I first met Weave, the designer behind By Weave, when we both showed a collection at Hong Kong Fashion week in 2014 and we have been following each other’s work ever since.  Not only is Weave is one of the lovliest women I have ever met but she is also incredibly talented! I love wearing her beautiful 'Carmella' silk and linen white cape top and I obviously wore it on Saturday night too.  It's one of my favourite pieces because I can style it so many different ways and it always creates a sophisticated look.

Weave's new Winter 2018 collection was a mix of beautiful prints, lace, leather, wool outerwear and a little bit of bling which is the perfect combination for any winter collection.  There were so many beautiful pieces and ones I would like to add to my Winter wish list right now.  Weave's new collection will be available on The Iconic and her By Weave online boutique.

If you're heading up to the Central Coast I strongly recommend a meal at Bombini.  They're open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday and lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Make sure you are following the Central Coast Fashion Week instagram page so you don't miss out on next year's schedule which is open to everyone.
